KaChing is not a third-party integration — we own the payment platform. That means zero commission on ordering (other platforms charge up to 30%), fully integrated POS-to-terminal payment flow, and one support team for everything. No other POS company in South Africa owns its own payment processing.
KaChing accepts all major card brands (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club), plus Apple Pay, Google Wallet, Samsung Pay, QR code payments, SMS/email payment links, and online payments. Every way your customers want to pay is covered.
When you use KaChing for online ordering, you set up your own branded ordering page. Orders flow directly into your FreshPOS system. Because the payment processing is through KaChing (which we own), there is no ordering commission — you only pay the standard card processing fee. Yes. KaChing Payments uses end-to-end encryption and is PCI DSS compliant. Card data is never stored on your POS terminal. All transactions are processed through secure, certified channels. QR and SMS payments use tokenised links — the customer's card details are never exposed to your staff or systems.
